Colonist Rebel Note Review
Directions- Use the notes from class to complete these review questions.
1.Why did the Soldiers fire on the colonist?
2. Explain- do you think the Boston Massacre was a fair fight? Why or why not?
3.The soldiers were found not guilty of murder at a trial regarding the Boston Massacre- if you were a colonist reading the verdict in the morning newspaper how would you have reacted?
4.Why do you think John Adams created the Committee of Correspondence? How would this help the colonists who were angry at the British?
5. Cause and Effect- Boston Tea Party: Using 3 boxes create a causes and effect timeline starting with the Tea Act, include the colonist reaction, and end with the British reaction.
7. Consider both perspectives (The King sent these colonist to America, paid for the French Indian War and now they are rebelling) (The Colonists feel they are being taxed unfairly and have a lack of freedom)- would you have been a Patriot or a Loyalist- explain your reasoning:
