This is a social studies American Revolution comic book project. It is a high-level project and requires the student to create a comic book about the American Revolution, pre-Revolutionary War through to the end. It requires multiple class sessions or work at home to complete.
Students will research both print and digital resources - including primary sources - to create their own pictures regarding important people, events, and things. They are required to summarize important information in order to caption their pictures.
This project includes directions, a template for the comic boxes, a cover page, student checklist, and a scoring guide/rubric.
Common Core ELA standards that may be possible to incorporate are included in the directions page.
Great for GT students.
My kids love this project. They actually ask to do it!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
