Notes: Depending on the learning differences of your students, you may have to employ additional scaffolding to help students understand the gist of the activity and produce a quality board. Many of my 7th graders required additional lessons on how to extract the important information from the graphic organizers and which information to utilize on their boards. For example, during our examination of the Battle of Saratoga, as a class we developed a simple 4-square organizer and worked together to extract the information that could be used for their respective boards.
