Students will begin to recognize why colonists fought for our freedom from England. Students will learn the order of events and factors that led to the following:

The Townshend Acts
The Boston Massacre
The Boston Tea Party
The Intolerable Acts
The First Continental Congress

Students can use the blank cards to research major contributions of our founding fathers:
James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Samuel Adams, Nathan Hale, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and The Sons of Liberty.

Also included, is a matching activity to assess student knowledge of major battles and events.
