This packet contains everything needed to lead your class through a research project focusing on some of the key figures of the American Revolution. The project involves students working in pairs and finding information to create a poster (an example is included right on the assignment sheet) detailing basic background, occupation(s), status, role played in the revolution, role played after the revolution, and interesting facts about their key figure. The packet includes a list(perfect for an overhead) of 15 diverse figures from which the students can choose (or be assigned). It also includes a note sheet packet for students to take notes from the finished posters. Lastly there is a quiz which is generic enough to fit basically whatever information the students put on their posters. This is a great way to quickly get students familiar with these key figures without the teacher just feeding them the information.
