Students are immersed into the Revolutionary time period by acting out a mock trial for the Boston Massacre. Students will then partner up and research patriots in pairs sharing their information in a "speed dating" session that will leave them never forgetting the founding fathers.
After a discussion/reading about the importance of communication in revolution students will then be given their entry document and begin the first part of their project- creating a mini media/press kit for one of the events that led to the American Revolution. They won't stop there...once they have created their press kits it will be time for them to take their knowledge and create their own media/press kit for something they feel passionately about.
