Students can demonstrate their understanding of the American Revolution by creating an authentic Boxing Poster! Modeled after vintage/ classic boxing posters, students will create a Colonist vs. British version!
An example of a finished product is included to help guide your instruction of this activity.
How to use this activity:
- Have students draw and color a Colonist and a British soldier in the boxes underneath the heading. Remind students to give each box a title.
- In the "Tale of the Tape" section, students will write reasons why they are upset with their "opponent". These reasons should explain their stance on the Revolutionary War.
Encourage students to be creative and to add color to their posters!
These posters look great in the hallway, and is a fun addition to your Revolutionary War instruction!
