Alphabet Read the Room
Letter Identification practice
Students need practice with letter identification all year long.
Keep your letter activities fun and engaging every month with these monthly themed letter cards.
Get your students up out of the their seats and moving around the room, hallway, corridor, in the sensory box or wherever! The options for using read the room activities are endless.
Even matching games and sorting games are possible as well.
BE CREATIVE and enjoy the flexibility these cards will give you.
Each month comes with a header using a real photo reflecting the theme of the month.
Letters are then sorted into Uppercase, Lowercase ,and Sign Language.
(13 months are included as I used flags for the theme in July. You may choose from the US flag or Canadian flag letters.)
One set of recording sheets are included. Make as many copies as you'd like to use throughout the year. It won't matter which themed cards you are using with the generic recording sheets. (making your life just a little simpler)
If you teach students who use sign language, you are always looking for ways to help them recognize both the written English letters and the Signed Hand shape that coordinates. Finally, here are ASL letters to keep your learners engaged.
I hope you love engaging your students with these activities
