ASL Animal Bingo is an exciting and challenging new game with words and pictures that allows everyone an opportunity to play and learn sign language.
This game is both educational and fun for young children ages 3-8 years old. It is designed to promote literacy; build vocabulary; increase engagement and introduce children to the wonderful world of sign language.
Studies show that when sign language is incorporated into learning activities; such as bingo, children are learning visually, verbally, and kinesthetically all at the same time – simultaneously engaging children of different learning styles and creating greater memory retention.
This fun, easy-to-follow signing game provides pictures to help toddlers and pre-school age children draw connections between the words on the card and the illustration they see. Learning to make the sign helps to improve fine motor skills.
For older children sign language helps them to focus, concentrate and remember content. It also helps them develop visual skills for reading printed language and word recognition grows.
