Description

Need a fun activity to introduce American students to British English? Here you go!

In this PowerPoint, students are asked to label 20 pictures. When I do this activity with my students, I don't tell them why they're doing this, but after I give them some time, I then ask them to make sure they write down 2 words for each picture. After giving them some more time, I ask them if they know what we're doing. If they don't figure it out, I help them by explaining that there are 2 main forms of English in our world: American English and British English.

This PowerPoint includes 20 pictures. It also includes the American English word and the British English word for each picture.
