Product Description

When the 18th Century dawned, Britain's position in the New World was secure: it had a loyal and contented population, secure borders and a steady inflow of tax revenue. However, less than fifty years later, these same colonies would become a breeding ground for revolutionary ideas.

This two-part worksheet focuses on the Great Awakening and the Enlightenment, two opposing movements that somehow both contributed to the spread of democratic feelings in the colonies.

Perfect as a classroom activity, homework assignment or review activity! Part I is an ten-question "Match-'Em" exercise, while Part II contains two short answer questions.

MashAvz strives to create academic material that is intelligent, fun and appealing to the eye. We hope that our materials stoke your students' intellectual curiosity and love of the arts, while also instilling in them a great respect for the world's diversity.
