Students are definitely experts at making sounds! At the same time, unless they are given ample opportunity to investigate the terms associated with the subject of sound, they may experience difficulties with the vocabulary and the application of their learning. With these two challenges, involving volume and pitch, students can put their sound expertise to good use while learning to navigate the topic's academic vocabulary. Students will have fun, and teachers will have little prep work in obtaining materials!
