An Introduction to Cryptography -- In-Person and Distance Learning

15 pages including a scripted lesson plan, interactive class activities, and projects to give students a basic introduction to the ideas of cryptography and steganography. The class gives an easy to follow overview of different methods from ancient times until today. Students will practice with different methods of invisible ink, will make a cipher disk, and will learn two different methods of encryption and create their own ciphers.
