This packet contains 25 printable pages to help your students solve analogies. The first four pages of picture analogies will introduce your students to this type of critical thinking activity. Thirteen pages follow that are organized by relationship: synonyms and antonyms, whole and part, general and specific, thing and characteristic, singular and plural, thing and product, thing and something it does, worker and tool, two members of the same class, male and female, adult and offspring, things that go together (pairs), and things that are nearby (spatial). Students work on seven more pages with ten diverse analogies per page, finding the relationship on their own. Your students will fully understand analogies by the time they get to the twenty-question quiz at the end.
