I have created a set of 40 cards with a kindergarten level analogy on each card. They work great as a transitional activity at the end of the day or when you have a few minutes before lunch and need a quick meaningful activity to fill that time.
There are 10 analogy card pages with 4 cards on each page, along with a directions page:
Print, cut apart, and laminate cards. Punch a hole in the corner of all the cards, and put them on a ring. Hang the cards on a hook right by your classroom door. When everyone is lined up and you have a few extra minutes, read a couple of analogies with your class, and watch their brains GROW!
Keep loving kindergarten!
