This Analogy Package includes two PowerPoint presentations and the set of ten worksheets - plenty to give students a good introduction to analogies
and to provide lots of practice with word relationships.
The PowerPoints and the worksheets cover sixteen types of analogies with activities that ask students to complete, sort, write, and identify the types of analogies.

Analogies Worksheet Set
The PowerPoint presentations each introduce eight specific types of analogies and provide examples and practice with each type. In addition to the practice slides about each type, additional practice slides give students a chance to review a mixture of the analogy types.
At the end of each presentation, there is a student notebook page which can be printed out in advance for students to complete as they view the slides. A completed version of each notebook page is also included.
The worksheet set features the same sixteen types of analogies introduce in the PowerPoints. The first four sheets review analogies four types at a time, and the two following sheets each include eight types for more in-depth practice. Additional activity sheets include cut and paste, multiple choice, and illustrating analogies
