This unit include:
*5x 1hour detailed lesson plans
*Student Notebooks to complete all work in- including key term definition, note taking tables, analysis and comparison tasks, a wide range of propaganda from 6 different nations complete with literal, inferential and evaluative questions, teacher assessment rubric, classmate and self-reflection tables

These 5x 1hour lessons are designed to help students understand the uses of propaganda by different countries in WWI. Students should have at least a basic understanding of the time period WWI occurred in before completing these lessons. Students will develop:

*Historical knowledge of the world before, during and after WWI
*An understanding of the uses of persuasive techniques in visuals
*An understanding of the role propaganda played in recruiting troops for WWI
*Comparison skills
*Skills in drawing inferences and evaluating visual texts
*Informed opinions from analysing primary and secondary sources

Student Notebooks are provided for you to print, staple and hand out to your students to complete all their work in one place. The Notebook can then be used when revising propaganda for other formal assessments or tests.
