These events cause characters to think, say, and do various things that elicit a personal transformational within the character. Students are asked to link a character trait to each event, based on how he/she reacts to those determined events. By doing so, the student will be able to easily see how each character grew and changed- how they TRANSFORMED into a better version of themselves by triumphing over struggle or defeat. Consequently, this analysis will assist students to develop a THEME of the story as well.
