This activity allows students to practice analyzing print advertisements for the use of ethos, pathos, and logos. It is designed to be used after students have learned about these three rhetorical strategies.
- A one-page chart for students to complete (with the first one completed as a model)
- A slideshow with the print advertisements included
You can share the slides with students and have them complete this activity independently, or you can have them work on it in small groups or even as a whole class.
