PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity can be assigned as a homework assignment, or completed in-class as a learning activity. It features Jason DeCaries Taylor's underwater sculptures, as well as an argumentative article (informational text), and a writing prompt. This resource has students summarize, analyze, and evaluate. It also includes a MAXX reading strategy built into the argumentative text. Made initially for a 1:1 classroom, this activity also works well as a paper/pencil activity. It provides models and scaffolds to provide students with a challenge as they work individually, in pairs, groups or as a class. It's versatile and great for practice, a lesson, or even sub plans. Enjoy!
