This 15 slide PowerPoint presentation will teach students about the three different types of fractures and then give them an opportunity to test that new knowledge by showing them a variety of x-ray images of broken bones which they will have to then classify as either compound, simple, or greenstick fractures. This is always a favorite with students and leads to some deep discussion as students defend their position. An answer key will appear at the bottom of each slide once you click to advance the presentation so everything you need is right at your fingertips!
Included with the PowerPoint is a "Suggested Lesson Sequence" to help guide you as you use this resource.
