Product Description
In this activity, students will confront their own stereotypes about what they imagine the Middle East to look like. Students will be presented with 12 images that they need to decide if they believe it was or was not taken in the Middle East and why. After showing all 12 images, the teacher will reshow them and explain where the images were actually taken with class discussions of what students believed and why. This is a great activity to start a unit on the Middle East and Islam so that students become more aware of their own mindset going into the unit.
