Product Description
Students gather sea surface data to determine how a hurricane affects the temperature of the ocean water. Using NASA's online data server, (instructions included) students will observe a two week period containing the span of Hurricane Rita. They will track the hurricane, record the sea temperature, and analyze the changes that have taken place as a result of this catastrophic event. They will then make a line graph that helps them interpret this data. Enjoy!
