This worksheet was designed for a 1:1 classroom with boxes for students to type their answers rather than lines to write on. I have another version, "Analyzing Non-Fiction Printable" that is the same as this, but with spaces for students to write. This worksheet has the students look specifically at four Reading: Informational Text standards (RI.9-10.2; RI.9-10.4; RI.9-10.6; RI.9-10.8). It is separated by standard.
This is something I do after I have taught each standard individually and they are reading and analyzing on their own. I have used this as a review of the standards before a benchmark, an assignment when I have a sub in my room and as a pre-writing activity for an analysis essay.
I teach 10th grade, so I know it fits specifically the 9-10 CCSS Standards, but I'm sure this could fit other grade levels.
