Devling into reading persuasive or argumentative texts in your classroom? Help students navigate the text by making it interactive with the form in this product! This form will help define elements as well as get students reflecting on what they've read!
These pages work well for students with some experience with reading argumentative text [if you're looking for an introductory-type page or a page that is less in-depth, see my store; make your choice carefully!]
Students will fill out definitions as defined by the teacher; then they will read a text of your/their choice. They will circle options, make check mark choices, and fill in sentence frames that will guide their analysis and also help them to reflect upon what they have read in order to decide on whether the presented argument was valid or not. Created for multi-use/multiple uses.
Flexible use options:
Includes an introductory page and a secondary page [for "beyond" use]
-use to supplement on-line articles or district adopted materials
-use with magazine articles such as Scholastic
-use with texts of all levels/lexiles
-use to bridge reading and writing
-use in class then at home
-use for whole class and/or small groups
