Product Description
OVERVIEW:

Sometimes there is more to point of view than “to inform,” “to persuade,” and “to entertain.” This activity will help students see events in World War II through opposing viewpoints. The students will read two primary documents to gain an authentic account from opposing sides of The Holocaust – a Jew hiding from the Gestapo and a German soldier fighting on the front lines.

• Provide copies/access to the primary documents
• Instruct students on how individuals can see the same situation in different ways
• Students read the passages and answer questions
• Teacher discusses the opposing viewpoints in the passages
