In this activity students will be reading about the various perspectives of the Mongol Empire throughout history. As they read they will answer text-dependent questions and determine whether the source is a positive description, neutral or negative description of the Mongol empire. This lesson would be great for 7th Grade History (When you are teaching China) or great for ELA classes teaching multiple perspectives and expository text analysis. This lesson is a great stand alone lesson that will take a week to complete.
