This set of files was originally designed for use in my class by a substitute teacher who lacked a background in anatomy. I created a series of files to use over the course of a few days, which my students used rather independently to learn about the basics of structural and functional classification of the joints.
With this set of files you will get editable versions of:
a PowerPoint to show images of various joints and their classifications,
a set of notes, both complete and with blanks for students to fill in
a review chart to use as either a handout or an assignment for students to fill in,
a graphic organizer,
and a set of review questions for students to answer after they have spend time reading and researching about the joints of the body.
While this is not the most creative lesson ever, it is useful in a pinch for substitute teachers or as independent work for students to use to review.
