This product has been made for use the Special Education classrooms in order to include the General Education curriculum for a unit on Ancient China. It consists of two short paragraphs reviewing key information about the Han and Qin Dynasties. The paragraphs use curriculum vocabulary words and concepts. Following the reading is a sorting activity to students to sort key information into the Han Dynasty or Qin Dynasty boxes. There are then three slides which provide a reminder about what contrast means, an example sentence, an idea bank, and a prompt for the student to write a contrast sentence. The final slide asks the students opinions regarding which dynasty was better and why. There is a sentence starter on this page for the students to complete.
