In this flipped video students will investigate the various social roles in Ancient Egypt (peasants, merchants, scribes, priests and government officials). Students will examine the rights and responsibilities of each group, as well as how they contributed to Egypt's success. The video addresses the following standards:

  • AERO 1.8.a- Apply key concepts such as chronology, causality, and conflict to identify patterns of historical change.
  • AERO 6.8.d- Know functions and responsibilities of government leaders and public servants.
