The zip file contains a PowerPoint template for a student report on ancient Egypt and instructions on making a video report on the same topic. . To introduce the concept of research, there is an additional PowerPoint explaining the difference between primary and secondary sources. Also included is a handout of web resources for student research on ancient Egypt and an outline of the content of each slide. There are directions for making the research report and a grading rubric for a research report and a video report in the folder. (I have included both the PDF and the original Word document, so you can copy and paste into your own word processor for any desired changes.) A bonus feature is a folder that contains 100 images of ancient Egypt that are free for teachers and students to use and share. The topics on each slide are:
