Ancient Egypt research using QR codes!
This QR code scavenger hunt can be used as an introduction to your Ancient Egypt unit or as a review at the end of the unit. All the video clips have been run through SafeShare and all the QR codes lead to child-friendly websites.
How I use this activity in my classroom:
-First, I laminate and cut up the cards. Then I put them on a book ring so students can flip through them easily.
-Next, I pair up students. Each pair gets a set of cards, an answer sheet, and a device with a QR scanner (iPod, iPad, tablet, etc.)
-Each pair finds a comfortable spot in the classroom and gets to work learning about Ancient Egypt!
When everyone is finished, we come together as a class to go over the answers and talk about the positives and the challenges of the activity.
An answer sheet with key is included, as is a list of the websites used.
This product is also included in my Ancient Civilizations QR Code Scavenger Hunt BUNDLE
