I use this activity as a review to wrap up our Ancient Egypt Unit. To start the activity I have the students do the “Find Someone Who” activity. Students are to find other classmates who can answer the questions on their worksheet. We use this structure throughout the year, so my students are familiar with it. If your students are not familiar with it, make sure to go over the instructions thoroughly the first time. I have my students fill in their own answers and have their partner initial the answer to show it is correct. I also only allow them to get one answer from each partner. As students finish filling in their bubbles, they are to return to their seats to work on the paragraph comparing Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. (Mesopotamia was previously taught.) This is a fun activity that really engages all students. I hope you and your students enjoy it!
