This bundle includes two QR code scavenger hunts that can be used as an introduction to your Ancient China and Ancient Egypt units or as reviews at the end of the units. All the video clips have been run through SafeShare and all the codes lead to child-friendly websites.
How I use these hunts in my classroom:
-First, I laminate and cut up the cards. Then I put them on a book ring so students can flip through them easily.
-Next, I pair up students. Each pair gets a set of cards, an answer sheet, and a device with a QR scanner (iPod, iPad, tablet, etc.)
-Each pair finds a comfortable spot in the classroom and gets to work!
When everyone is finished, we come together as a class to go over the answers and talk about the positives and the challenges of the activity.
Answer sheets with keys are included, as is a list of the websites used.
Individual products included in this bundle:
-Ancient China QR Code Scavenger Hunt
-Ancient Egypt QR Code Scavenger Hunt
