In this assignment, students must do a bit of research or use the History Alive: The Ancient World text book to find information on some of Egypt's monuments. They will take an imaginary "tour" of some of Egypt's best known sites. When they "return" from their tour, they will wite a letter to somebody telling of the monuments they visited as well as give information about the pharaoh who was associated with the building of each monument. It gives students an opportunity to virtually explore Egypt and share what they learned in a creative way.
