Ancient Greece Governments asks students to define eight different types of governments commonly seen in Ancient Greece and throughout the world by creating a foldable resource. Students then examine the similarities and differences between the Athenian democracy system and the American democracy system using a comprehensive chart broken into similar categorical areas, finally putting their findings into a Venn diagram. I would then have my students take this information and turn it into an essay to extend the learning even farther.
