A great activity for upper elementary and middle school students. In this lesson, students learn about the mindset and outlook of the typical ancient Greek through a role-playing situation (as a small group or solo). Reading seven varied scenarios they will choose from three answers the one that best describes what a civilized, educated, and good Greek citizen would do. (Answers AND commentary on why that is the best answer follow the activity.) This lesson plan/activity can be done after students have some background study of the Greeks or it can be an introduction and discussion starter.
