This PowerPoint resource has been carefully prepared to make teaching ancient Greece interesting and enjoyable for everyone! It features 166 detailed slides filled with images, bold key words, turn & talk questions, and suggested videos.
Key features of this presentation on include:
Key Words = Throughout the presentation I have highlighted key words in yellow so that they stand out and make note taking easier for students.
Images = I have worked hard to include an image such as a map or piece of art or sculpture on each page to increase visual interest.
Turn & Talk = I have included “Turn & Talk” slides at places in the presentation where students may benefit from discussing information with a neighboring student. This activity gives students a chance to pause and more deeply process the knowledge from the lecture.
Suggested Videos = At the end of each section, I have included links to suggested YouTube videos that I use in my class. These videos provide extended learning opportunities and may be useful for students who wish to go more in-depth or review topics in a video format.
