Geography teachers! Get your students up and moving around with this Ancient Greece Stations Activity! Stations activities allow students to practice important skills including: research skills, time-management skills, organization skills, communication (both written and verbal) skills, and collaborative skills.
This activity can be used in several ways. I’ve used this activity in lieu of lecture/discussion when I’m running short on time and I have a lot of content I still need to cover. Stations activities are a great way to cover a lot of content in a short period of time, in a fun and engaging way! Stations also make great supplements to pre-existing units or great end-of-the-unit review activities!
Stations included: *Hexagonal thinking activity, Build a popsicle stick catapult, Greek alphabet activity, Socrates quote analysis activity, Map activity, Ancient Greek Olympics Trivia.
This Ancient Greece Stations Activity includes:
- 6 station cards (Based on the 5 themes of Social Studies: Geography, History, Government, Economics, Culture)
- 2 visually appealing recording sheets. I recommend printing back-to-back to save paper.
- Answer Key
- 52 Hexagonal Thinking Vocabulary cards and 26 blank cards
