Students of History

This Ancient Greece activity has students using critical thinking skills to sort important people from Athens into various categories like Philosophy, Science, Politics, etc based on their accomplishments.

This is great to use for a review or preview of the Golden Age of Athens. There are 18 people and things students need to identify and sort, including Socrates, Aristotle, Archimedes, Euclid, Euripides, Thucydides, and more. These can be cut out and sorted into categories that best fit them.

A directions page describes three different ways to differentiate this lesson for your students - advanced, intermediate, and Basic. All three are excellent lessons and will have students interacting in groups and thinking critically to sort each figure.

This resources can also be downloaded as part of the Ancient Greece Unit Bundle.
