Product Description
This map foldable is folded horizontally so that the sides meet in the middle to form a map of Ancient Mesopotamia. Directions are provided on a separate sheet to give your students step-by-step instructions for completing the map. Labels are also included.

The inside of the foldable has three sections:

1. In the first section, a space is provided for students to write 5 facts about the geography of Ancient Mesopotamia.
2. In the second section, students will complete a chart by writing and/or drawing about 9 effects of ancient Mesopotamians settling and forming communities around the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers (examples: the farmers had to come up with ways to irrigate the land, many different types of crops were grown, the wheel was invented, cuneiform was invented, ect…).
3. In the third section, students will use a compass rose and a map to answer questions about the location of certain geographical features within and surrounding Mesopotamia.

A key and pictures of an example are included. This works great in interactive notebooks. Enjoy!
