The zip file contains directions for either a PowerPoint or video student report on ancient Mesopotamia. To introduce the concept of research, there is an additional PowerPoint explaining the difference between primary and secondary sources. Also included is a handout of web resources for student research on ancient Mesopotamia and an outline of the content of each slide. There are directions for making the report as a PowerPoint or a video and grading rubrics for research reports and videos in the folder. (The original Word documents and PDFs are included so that you can copy and paste into your own word processor for any desired changes.) A bonus feature is a folder that contains 73 images of ancient Mesopotamia that are free for teachers and students to use and share. The topics on each slide are:
