PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Compare the social structure and government of Ancient Mesopotamia with the current government of the United States.
Students place the members of society (slaves, king, farmers, priests, merchants, artisans) on the correct level of the ziggurat social structure and explore the concept of Theocracy.
Whole group instruction includes discussion of the US form of government and establishing a social structure for the US (Upper, middle, lower) and how we determine who is in each class.
Finally students will create a social structure for their own ancient civilization.
