You read your students a 20 short paragraph condensed version of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar." At the end of each paragraph, the students choose among three possible answers as to "What Happens Next."
This is a great way to introduce the play to students or to take a day to let them become familiar with this great play.
It is also a great way for students to learn about the crucial events that helped move Rome from a Republic to an Empire.
This activity gets the students very involved in the reading as the students stay engaged by trying to pick the right choices.
