Each year I do a short unit on what I call the "Five Famous Dead Romans." They include Julius Caesar, Nero, Trajan, Constantine, and Pliny the Elder.
These are five very different characters from Roman history. This is either a homework sheet that can be completed through individual research (Internet) or a test to be given at the end of direct instruction and reading about these five men. Please see the thumbnails for an idea of what the printable looks like.
There is a lot of good resource material on these five men available on the Internet or in textbooks to lead into this worksheet/test. Answers provided.
