PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

On this assignment students must fill in each box on either a person, place, event, or thing from Ancient Rome.

I have done this as an introduction to the unit and have kids look up these items in their textbook or Internet before we start the unit, or use it as a review before a test to write down everything they know. I have also used this as a quick assessment of what they know at the end of a lesson and have them fill in each box as we learn about it.

The topics include:
Julius Cesar
tribunes
Coliseum
Punic Wars
Republic
aqueduct
Constantinople
Senate
Gladiator
Census
Constantine
Octavian Augustus
Tiber River
Pompeii
Twelve Tables
Hannibal

This works great for either Middle or High School. Students can write as little or as much as you request, thus, it can be for almost any grade level.
