Exploring Rhythm
A fun, creative, and hands on way to introduce students to the importance of rhythm in life and in theater/drama. Students will participate in a number of hands on activities that heighten their awareness of rhythms that exist in the everyday world around them. These activities will also give them a chance to explore and develop their own sense of rhythm. In the final activity they will create a rhythm performance based on and similar to that of the group “Stomp Out Loud.”
