Product Description
As students learn about Andrew Jackson's presidency, they decide what facts about him were positive and negative. Students will use these facts to create an argument to prove that Andrew Jackson was either a hero or villain.

Each section has a link that takes students to engaging Jackson learning videos.

The Final piece of this assignment is an EXCELLENT Video that wraps up the learning with this:

What is the verdict? Andrew Jackson was both beloved and loathed during his presidency. In this imaginary courtroom, you get to be the jury, considering and weighing Jackson’s part in the spoils system, economic depression, and the Indian Removal Act, as well as his patriotism and the pressures of the presidency.

The Writing Component:

Do you think Andrew Jackson is a HERO or VILLAIN? Does he deserve to be on the $20 bill?
