Product Description
One of the most famous presidents with one of the most controversial legacies, by far, is Andrew Jackson. This project based learning activity turns the students into researchers and lawyers and witnesses in the prosecution or defense of Andrew Jackson. Students will square off in the courtroom trying to prove or disprove Jackson guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors which could lead to his political doom.

The project comes complete with very detailed instructions, an outline of the trial, rubrics for each role, and a list of roles you can assign. You just supply the research sources and let the students do the rest! Have fun learning about the Jacksonian era in a fun and engaging way!
