A flexible print-and-go document to help teachers track and organize student progress during small group time. As a teacher who uses daily centers and flexible grouping during meet with the teacher time in a multiage classroom, I needed a resource that would allow me to use my own observations to help me determine my students understanding of a particular lesson.
During planning, these pages can be used to create groups and determine a daily or weekly learning goal for each group. During teaching time, there is space under each student's name to take anecdotal notes about how the student is progressing through the lesson. At the end of the lesson or week of lessons, there is a space for each student to record their level of understanding about the learning goal. This document would be useful for determining groups for the next week, or to help you remember which students will need reteaching of the learning goal. Additionally, it may help you notice over multiple weeks which students may need additional support.
